PaulaClaudine A. Hobson-Coard (Mora) is a multidisciplinary artist. As a musician she manages and performs as a vocalist with her husband in their band called Love Struck, she is an artist, photographer, patient care advocate, and Equity & Safety Commissioner for the City of South San Francisco. PaulaClaudine has been an active Commissioner with the City of South San Francisco for 9 years.
Prior to joining the Equity & Safety Commission in 2022, PaulaClaudine served in the Cultural Arts Commission from 2015 to 2022. She earned her BA in Broadcast Communications, and Music at San Francisco State University.
PaulaClaudine is of Eastern Caribbean and British heritage. Throughout her life she has been nicknamed “Ms. United Nations” because of her very global and open-minded perspective on life. She has always surrounded herself with people of various cultures, and has an extreme interest in travelling abroad, and learning foreign languages.
PaulaClaudine has been a Patient Care Advocate for over 15 years, caring and helping people to navigate the complexities of the Healthcare System. For over 30 years, she has taken an active role in her community. Civic engagement and community service is important to PaulaClaudine. Her journey in community service began when she was a teenager in high school when she enlisted in the NJROTC program as a Petty Officer.
PaulaClaudine’s goal in life is to help people of all walks of life to be able to live the best life that they can live. She is the voice for those who cannot speak clearly, and the voice for those who cannot speak loud enough.
